ADS9224R: How to design the capacitor in front of the input of ADC

Hi team,

I have two small questions about the design of external circuit of ADC. Hope to get your help.

How to design the capacitor in front of the input of ADC? (3300pF) Are there any documents about it?

2. Are there any examples or documents concerning about checking the issues of settling time without simulation tools? Is it possible to check it simply by calculation?
