TSW1400EVM: Failed to download firmware into the EVM board.

Part Number: TSW1400EVM

Hi,

I bought a TSW1400EVM borad on July,2019. The board was normal before, but recently it began to be abnormal. Now, I can not download firmwire into the board(the LED indicator lights flashed and went off ). The warning is shown as following figure.

I tried another TSW1400EVM board and it was normal(can download firmware successfully, and the LED indicator lights are all on).

So, what can I do now?  Beg for your help. Thanks very much.

    Bob,

    The failing board may be requiring a little more current than your other board. Make sure the 5V input source can provide at least 4A to the TSW1400EVM board. Does the fan turn on and is LED D12 "ON" when power is applied and the power switched turned on?

    All of the power supplies have test points. If the 5V is providing the proper amount of current, verify all voltage regulators are reporting the proper voltage at the test points.

    Thanks very much! The issue was solved by tuning up current limit of power supply.
