ADS7924: ads7924 I2C Running problem

Part Number: ADS7924

Hi.

I'm trying to run ads7924 using stm32f series.

But i2c does not work so I check the i2c line.

Between 0R, MCU side 3.3V but ads7924 side 0V. I set pull up setting of MCU internally .

What is the problem? below is the circuit i designed

  • Hello,

The zero ohm should always show the same voltage when a DC input is used.

Can you confirm that the zero ohm is in fact a 0 ohm; make sure it is well connected;  and you are measuring at the correct node.

The 10K ohm at A0 is also not necessary, the pin can be connected directly to ground.

    Regards

    Cynthia

  • Thank you for reply.

Yes, different voltage is the point that i don't understand.

    I will check circuit again...

If is there any problem, does that circuit receive 5v ac data and convert it to 3.3v?

  • Please let me know what your finding are.

Confirm that both lines show correct voltages. I am not sure if both SCLK and SDA are low, or just SDA.

Also, I predict your drawing is a quick schematic to show the issue you are experiencing and not a thorough representation of all the connections. Confirm that  ADCIN is connected to MUXOUT. that RESET pin is pulled high (not floating)

    Regards
