ADS131A02: What happen when ADC read before /DRDY signal goes to low?

Hi Experts,

We are going to use ADS131A02 with asynchronous interrupt mode. This mode uses /DRDY signal from ADS131A02 to know if the conversion data is available. When CPU reads the data before /DRDY is relady(low), what kind of data can be read? Is it simple the previous conversion data?

    When the ADS131A02 is read before the /DRDY goes low, the conversion is not available. When this happens, the device will output the last or existing data from the ADC. If the ADC has just been started, then the ADC may report 000000 as data.

    Note that there is a latency in putting on adc conversion data on DOUT of one data period. We're working on some new edits to the datasheet and the latency and settling of the ADS131A02 with the sinc3 filter look like this:
