ADS1115: Discontinuous data output

Part Number: ADS1115

Hello,

Our customer used ADS1115 and he found that the output code is discontinuous, it is changed with 1,16,32,48.... instead of 0,1,2,3,4.........

The high-threshold register and low-threshold register of comparator  has no problem. So could you please help to analyze what is the problem?

Best regards

kailyn

  • Kailyn,

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are they changing the input very slowly and getting discontinuous readings for the ADC output? Can they just use a DC input, make a measurement, and then use a different DC input?

Again, I'm not sure how they have the input set up and exactly what measurements they get. I'll need more information about how they have the test set up.

  • Hi Joseph,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I will confirm with our customer again.

    Best regards

  • Kailyn,

It's been a while since I heard from you, so I thought I check in on your customer's problem. From my last post, I wanted to know more about how they were getting discontinuous readings, and how the input was set up.

I'll close this thread for now. However, if your customer still has problems, post back and we'll continue working on this.
