Hi,

I am looking for an ADC platform to capture samples. The ADS8168EVM-PDK looks like it would work well. I would like to capture samples and have them stored to a file. I am not sure how many sample I will need to capture. There is GUI that is available. Will that GUI allow me to capture the samples and save them to a file. I don't need the the analytical portion of the GUI, only want to capture and store samples to a file only.

    Hello Malcolm,

    Yes, the ADS8168EVM-PDK GUI does allow export of the captured data to a file.  The software does not have a way to automate this process; you will need to manually click the Capture button, and then export the data.

    The data can be exported from the Time domain Display window by 'right' clicking on the waveform, and then selecting 'Export Data To Excel'.
