AFE4490SPO2EVM: Signed Drivers

Part Number: AFE4490SPO2EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4490

Hi team,

Can you answer my customers request, please? Feel free to contact me for the driver handover to the customer.

After updating my Windows 10, the AFE4490 EVM is not recognized anymore as the COM port. It is listed as normal USB com port. I tried to install the unsigned drivers once again, but it doesn’t work with the new update of Windows 10.

I came across this post on TI E2E (https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/t/899785?AFE4490SPO2EVM-signed-driver-with-AFE4490-EVM). I would appreciate if you could provide me with signed drivers, too.

Thank you,

Franz

  • Hello Franz,

I am closing this post since we have already shared the drivers through email.

  • Hi Praveen,

Thank you for providing the new GUI version. Unfortunately the customer has an issue with it still. Do you have any suggestions?

I still have problems running the GUI on my PC. I installed the Labview v.14 as well as the signed drivers. Now, the COM port is shown as ‘AFE44xx EVM’ in Device Manager. But when I run the GUI, I get the error saying: ‘An error occurred while communicating with the device, Continue in Simulation or Stop & Close’.

I tried a couple of tricks such as uninstalling the old GUI, the old drivers, restarting the PC, …, but I face the same issue. I should say that it works on another PC, and I tried to repeat the same instruction with no luck.

    Thank you,

    Franz
