Hi team,
My customer is wanting to use ADS125H02 in their design. On their board, they are having an issue where the chip won’t respond to ANY SPI messages.
Over the past 3 weeks they have tried to get it it work, and could not talk to the ADS125H chip, and could not do it in a way that worked.
A: They replaced it 3 times in case they broke the chip, and it didn’t solve the problem.
B: They rebuild a whole new PCB with a new chip, and the SPI still didn’t talk to the new prototype board.
C: They spend many days testing the pins, monitoring signals, monitoring address numbers, and it all looked great. But did not work.
D: They checked every pin on the chip, and all seemed to be driven correctly.
E: They use the internal oscillator. They wired it correct.
F: They bought a ADS125H demo board and looked at the working SPI on the demo, and the demo worked and the SPI looked correct just like our version.
I have been given partial schematics and can send it via email.
