  • Hi Sean,

The ADS8688A is same as ADS8688 except the additional features:

    1. More input ranges per channel:

    ADS8688:    ±10.24 V, ±5.12 V, ±2.56 V,  10.24 V, 5.12 V

    ADS8688A:  ±10.24 V, ±5.12 V, ±2.56 V, ±1.28 V, ±0.64 V,  10.24 V, 5.12 V, 2.56 V, 1.28 V

    2. Alarm feature for input monitoring:

The ALARM allows the user to program individual high and low thresholds for each input channel and the ADC outputs a flag if the input exceeds the threshold set by the user in any direction.

    Regards,

    Dale
