Part Number: DAC7644

Hi team,

My customer asked about the power up and down sequence of Vcc and Vdd.

Is there any recommend power up down sequence for Vcc and Vdd?

In the case that either Vcc or Vdd is only supplied to the IC, is there risk of damage to the device?

Regards,

Saito

  • Hi,

As such there is no specific power supply sequencing requirements for DAC7644.

if you are using single supply operation, meaning only VCC and VDD, no issues with respect to sequencing.

If you are using -ve supply (VSS) I suggest both VCC and VSS to be ramped up/down at the same time. VSS is critical in this device for dual supply, as this is setting critical bias points inside the device.

I don't see any issue with VCC or VDD is applied for short duration.

    Regards,

    AK
