ADS125H02: reference voltage range

Part Number: ADS125H02

we are designing a ADC circuit to measure from -3v to +3v , as per the data sheet HVDD: ±5 V to ±18 V , our doubt is does the range vary from ( -5v to -18v & +5v to +18v ) or (-18v to +18v & -5v to +5v),

  • Hi Sasi,

The HVDD/HVSS supplies can be imbalanced, if that is what you are asking. In other words you could have HVDD = 12V and HVSS = -10V, such that HVDD-HVSS = 22V. You just need to ensure that you meet all of the requirements in the Recommended Operating Conditions (table 7.3).
