Part Number: ADS1281EVM-PDK
Hi Team,
I want to set up ADS1281EVM, when I install the ADCPro and I find my computer can't install the driver, so that I can't set up the EVM. Could you help me or provide me the TI driver configuration.

Hi Gust,
Figure 9 might be from an older version of the Windows OS. If you've downloaded and installed ADCPro and ADS1281EVM-PDK-SW, you should have gotten the driver. However, if you are still having driver issues you can find the Driver installer at C:\Program Files (x86)\ADCPro\drivers\ and select between the 32-bit (mmb0_driver_install_x86-v2.0.0.0.msi) or 64-bit (mmb0_driver_install_x64-v2.0.0.0.msi) OS installer.
Try running the driver install again and let me know if that resolves the issue.
Hi Team,
I met similar issue with Gust, also similar with below link.
1. Use on-board power, GUI/EVM version are as below,
2. Re-install mmb0_driver_install_x64-v2.0.0.0.msi, re-power, re-plug in, no helpful.
3. Changed to several computers with Win10 Pro, no helpful.
Does +/- 10V the only way? Any other suggestions?
Hi Holly,
The ADS1281EVM-PDK does require the +/- 10V bench supply (in addition to the 5V supply) to be connected and provided to the MMB0 in order for the PC/software to connect. Therefore, do make sure all supplies are provided. It used to be that we would provide a wall outlet/power supply in the kit to generate the 5V supply to the MMB0, but unfortunately there is no one wall-connected power supply which can support all countries AC-distribution networks as well as satisfy the required efficiency and materials regulations.
Technically, ADCPro is not fully-compatible and supported on Windows 10. We made some updates a few years ago to make it more compatible with Windows 10, but we've still seen issues with users using Windows 10. If you have a Windows 7 machine you might try it to see if the EVM works on it. Otherwise, we have seen users get the software to work on Windows 10 with a little bit of clever manipulation. See the following E2E threads for details:
Hi Holly,
Great, I'm glad that resolved the issue! Let us know if you have any additional questions.
