Part Number: TPL1401
How do I use a TPL1401 to program a LASER diode analog power control (APC) circuit?
Below is an example circuit to program a LASER diode APC circuit. The TPL1401 provides an 8-bit, programmable DC bias and integrates a precision internal reference. The high-speed modulation DAC used for the modulation input will not need to drive the load of controlling the biasing dynamically.
Some applications for this type of circuit include: barcode scanners, LASER distance measurements, cordless vacuums, or power tools.
The TPL1401 can be found in many common applications:
Exit and emergency lighting
Cordless vacuum cleaners
Robotic lawn mowers
Laser distance meter
