Hai,

I am trying to do a design which can convert the composite signal into the analog RGB signals for connecting to the VGA based monitors. There is no single chip solution for this application, so after a lot of of search I have choosen TVP5150AM to convert the composite signal to 8bit YCbCr((ITU-BT.656) and then fed this output to the THS8134B to get the analog RGB outputs. This solution looks to be viable and cheaper. But the problem here is I don't have any master in my design to program the I2C registers of the TVP5150AM. Will this solution works with the default register settings of the TVP5150. Kindly let me know as I am struck with this. Quick response is appreciated.
