Hi, I want to know how can i connect shield and rld cable, if a need to use two or more cables in daisy chain configuration.

    Hi Oscar,

    The shield cable is not a required connection for an ECG setup. Depending on the design of the cable, the wire may have a shielding design around the RLD signal. That is what would be connected to the shield wire. You can try using a separate wire and weave the RLD and shield wire to see how it looks but it is not a true representation of how a RLD/shield wire would be used in an application.

    Hi tony, I am usign ads1298ecgfe and I prove the kit with shield and without the shield. 

    When i used the shield i can reduce the noise, i use an external amplifier and connect to the ads1298ecgfe, but now  am doing my own ads1298 board with two ads1298, in the figure I show you where I will set the wire.

    Hi Oscar,

    See Figure 63 to show how to share a single RLD for multiple devices. From there, you will want to invert that single signal to create the shield drive signal for your RLD.
