TSW3100EVM and TSW30H84EVM

I've installed the software on Windows XP. The USB ethernet adapter and the TSW30H84EVM board are both recognized by the computer.

I'm trying to run the test setup procedure via the TSW3100_CommsSignalsPattern Software, but whenever I load and run a signal to the board an Error Dialog box appears saying "TFTP Timeout occurred. Check Connection to TSW3100."


How can I fix this?

    The TSW3100 uses the ethernet interface. Have you followed the bring up procedure

    You can try a ping to the appropriate eth address - if that works and you still get errors in the transfer, then you may have a firewall issue. In that case you may have to disable your firewall for the ftp transfer to work.

    If you cannot resolve these issues I would suggest perhaps using the TSW1406 (low cost) or TSW1400 (full feature) instead of the older and more expensive TSW3100. BTW did you purchase the TSW3100 recently or just an EVM you had access to? We have not recommended the TSW3100 in several years.
