DAC8411: Power-up time

Hello,

I would like to know the power-up time from "power on reset" of DAC8411.

Data sheet has only the power-up time "coming out of power-down mode" (typ.50 micro sec.).

If possible, I want to know max.value of that power-up time.

Hello Uttam,

Thank you for your answer. I looked at Figure 31 " Power-On Reset to 0V Power-On Glitch".

Do you mean the Glitch time is same as power-up time?

Figure 31 says the width of Glitch in time domain is approx. 3ms.

So, the power-up time (coming out of Power-On Reset) is 3ms, right?

I want to set the data to DAC8411 as soon as possible after power-up of AVdd.

Do I have to wait 3ms to send the data to DAC8411 after power-up? It's too long, I think.

Please let me know.

Hi Kiyoshi,

Let me check with the design team and get an answer on the delay required between power-on-reset to programming.

Hi Kiyoshi,

I got a reply from the internal team and they think 200us should be fine although we have not done any characterization for this parameter.
