ADS54J66: About the clock termination

In ADS54J66's datasheet, it shows the termination schema as:

But in http://www.ti.com/tool/ADS54J66EVM, the schema is:

Which one is better? Why the EVM don't use the shcema the recommended by the datasheet?

    Diverger,

    The EVM was designed by one engineer and the data sheet was written by another. Sometimes things like this occur. Both cases will work but I would suggest using the EVM example as it is best to place the termination as close as possible to the load.
