DAC80501: DAC80501 problem

Dear team
When DAC80501 uses internal reference voltage source when VDD=5.4V, VOUT can output 2.5-5V output. Especially whether the upper limit can output 5V. What is the drive capability of the amplifier inside the DAC8050? Thank you.

Hi TTG,

We specify that the DAC can source 10mA with only 300mV of headroom. In addition, Figure 32 in the datasheet shows its sourcing capability with 500mV of headroom, which you could use as an estimate.

Hi Paul，
I am going to use DAC+ op amp. The operational amplifier is connected as an active low-pass filter to meet the requirements of driving and filtering. Is this all right, thank you.

Sure, though the DAC80501 should be capable of doing the sourcing, it does not features a LPF.
