How do I convert the gain of an amplifier from dB into volts per volts (v/v) for an audio amplifier?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2032D1

Sometime the gain of an amplifier is stated in dB and can be easily converted to v/v with the following equation:

V(v/v) = 10^(V(dB)/20)

Example: TPA2032D1 has a gain of 6 dB, the gain in v/v would be 2 v/v

V(v/v) = 10^(6/20)
