PCM2912A: Simpler pcm2912a

I have a pre-amplified electret microphone whose analog audio signal (voltage range is 1 to 4 volts) I want to send to the USB port.

I noticed this chip has more features than what I need (e.g. headphone L/R output channels). Is there another, simpler chip that achieves what I am looking for, which is to just do the encoding portion to USB.
I am not interested in decoding anything, either.

Welcome to E2E, Thanks for your interest in our products!.

We have other USB-Audio codecs, but none of them features the direct mic interface like the the PCM2912A. This device is the best option we have now for the described applciation.

Q: which are those other USB-audio codecs? It may be more convenient for me to not have a direct mic interface.

Hi, AJ,

The other USB-Audio codecs we have are PCM2901C, PCM2902C, PCM2903C, PCM2906C, where the simpler one we have is the PCM2900C. These devices accept a line level analog input.
