PCM2912A: How to setting programmable gain amplifier (PGA) ?

Hi,

   I have a question in setting PCM2912A's PGA function.

   I am use Android platform, how to setting PGA function?

   In datasheet I can see about any about this setting.

   I just see 9.5.1.2 and 9.3.5 - 9.3.8 write about PGA function.



      How to setting PGA through software?

    Hi, Wu,

    The PGA of the PCM2912A actually is controlled by software on the host system, there is no way to change the PGA gain manually on the codec. The PGA level can be adjusted by the  native input volume control function of the OS.

    Hi,

        I know use OS adjust, but I want to know have any code support?  because on datasheet can't see any code information.

    Hi, Wu,

    The datasheet does not give any code specific support as the input volume control is done on the operating system and it is specific for each one of them. I would recommend you to look for the specific steps and configuration to change the input volume of USB Audio class 1 devices on the operating system you are working on.
