ADC32RF44: Digital gain feature

Hello team,

ADC32RF44 has digital gain feature and I would like to know the function.

Is the function only to add gain to output code?

For example, when using 11dB(=x3.54), output code steps like 0(=0x3.54), 4(=1x3.54), 7(=2x3.54), 11(=3x3.54), 14(=4x3.54), .....?

Do you have any documentation that explains digital gain feature?

What I would like to know is if digital gain feature simply multiplies ADC output value and setting gain value, or including any digital processing such as filtering.

Taketo-san,
digital gain is purely intended to scale the digital output full scale.
For example if the ADC input is operated always 3dB from fullscale to improve harmonic distortion, then 3dB digital gain can be added to the output word to make -3dBFS on the input look like 0dBFS on the output.
