Linux/DAC38J82: Can dac38j82 work in subclass 0?

Hello. I have difficult with datasheet for dac38j82.

1. I can't find information about subclass 0.

Can dac38j82 work in subclass 0?

2. Which of the four output channels should I use in the two-channel model dac38j82?

Val,

This part does not support subclass 0. Using the output mux function, any two of the 4 outputs are available to be used at a given time.

Hi Jim! Thank you for your reply. I have one more question. According to datasheet of DAC38J82, on page 102, Figure 81, there is no need to connect signal "SYSREF" to FPGA if i use one DAC38J82 chip.
If i correct understanding datasheet, i must connect clock to FPGA and clock and SYSREF signals to DAC? Am i right?

Val,

Both the FPGA and DAC should both get a device clock and a SYSREF signal. I believe this is a typo in the data sheet.
