Hello,

i´m trying to integrate the ADS1298 evalutation-board into an existing evalution software.

I know the MMB0 board use libusb and the styx protokol but this doesn´ t helped me so much.

Is it possible to get a documentation of the communciation protocol? This would help me very much.

Hi Patrick,

Are you are trying to take our ADS1298EVM and run it with your own processor or are you trying to take your own board and run it on our MMB0?

No, the hardware stay the same

ADS1x98 ECG FE (Rev A) and MMB0.

I trying to run the hardware with my own software (using USB). So I can send and read data but I need to know more about the communication-protokol.

Our communication between the PC and DSP is the USBStyx protocol that has been mentioned. This is our implementation of the Styx protocol over USB.

Did you have luck with the USBStyx protocol?

I am trying to implement the same USBStyx protocol to connect an Android device to an MMB0 and ADS1x98 ECG FE (Rev A) board.

Please, can you provide some documentation if it is available?

Hi Rafael,

Yes I could successful use the USBStyx protocol with matlab.

I also have some documentation but only in german. There were some errors in the source code I had to correct. Did you also could compile the library for Android?

Hi Patrick,

Can you provide me the documentation in german?

Regarding the Styx protocol for Android, I dont know yet if the UsbStyx driver implemented by TI is based on the stardard protocol specs or contains any vendor specific features.

Hello,

I attached you the first pages of my documentation (I think the matlab implementation is not necessary), which describes how I compiled the library. I think some parts where only necessary to use it with matlab.

Let me know if you could implement it on Android.

Hi Patrick,

I was trying to use your Matlab source in communicating with ADS1298 ECG-FE. I am facing issues with using cstyx.dll as its compiled for 32-bit OS. I need a library compiled for 64-bit OS. Can you help me with this?

I am having MATLAB 14 on my windows based PC.I want to state communication between MMB0 and MATLAB like you,so that i can further do processing on the raw data.

Thanks for putting code for the same . It will be more helpful if you give steps to do the same.I have added libusb.dll to my system.

Are you using linux environment for your project? Is the ZIP(TI_MMB0 .rar) file you added above is complete project ?if yes, can you please guide me how can I compile and multiple files at the same time?
