Can we measure soil moisture with FDC1004?

    Hi Ersen,

    You can measure soil moisture with any of our FDC devices. The moisture will change the capacitance reading compared to dry soil. However, rocks, roots, and other normal parts of soil will also change the capacitance reading. The real-world variables could significantly affect the accuracy of the readings. You may want to do some testing with the FDC1004EVM, as well as investigating TI's humidity sensors to see if they would better suit your application.
