CCS Update and now debug errors

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1808

I did a CCS update yesterday and now I get the following error from the debugger:

ARM9_0: Error: (Error -242 @ 0x2A49) A router subpath could not be accessed. The board configuration file is probably incorrect. (Release 5.0.333.0)

What should I do? Can I roll back the update? How can I find out what was updated?

CCS Version: 4.2.3.00004

XDS100v2 USB Emulator

AM1808 Experimenter Kit

  • Hi Greg, Unfortunately you cannot rollback an update. What version did you upgrade from (when everything was working fine)? ki
  • The previous CCS version was 4.2.1.00004. Is there anyway to tell what the 'board configuration file' is?
  • I'm also getting this message: ARM9_0: Warning: (Error -1029 @ 0x2B5F) Invalid data read from ICECrusher register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Release 5.0.333.0) How do I 'lower TCLK'? I'm assuming this is relating to the USB100v2?
  • Can you try creating a new target configuration from scratch (instead of using the one that you used before the update)? I was able to connect fine with 4.2.3 and the AM1808 but I created a new config.
  • That was it. A new project works fine. I went back to the other projects and made sure they were using the new tool chain. Then no problem.

    Thanks!
