Dynamic Library Could Not be Located ....

I'm running CCSv4 on Windows 7 in a virtual machine with Ubuntu 11.04 as the host.  I'm trying to debug a program ment to run on the OMAP L-138, which lives on a custom evaluation board.  I keep running into this error every time i go to debug:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -600 @ 0x0)
A required dynamic library could not be located.
The library isn't on the search path.
(Release 5.0.333.0)

 

I've got the correct XDS100v2 USB Emulator Installed and am using Version 4.2.3.00004, so Im not sure where the 5.0.333.0 release is coming from -- well maybe I do, I previously had version 5.0.333.0 running on my Ubuntu Host and Version 4.2.3.00004 running on a Windows virtual machine.  I've since uninstalled version 5 and still keep getting this error.   If i had a little more information on what Error -600 was, i might be able to fix the missing library it speaks up.  Any insight as to the cause of this error?

    Christine, 

    I recall seeing this issue where the customer installed CCS under C:\Program Files and did not disable UAC - is this your case? If so, you can have some workarounds (check this post).

    The version 5.0.333.0 is the version of the emulation component that is part of CCS 4.2.3.00004.

    The version of CCS installed on the host does not influence the Virtual Machine functionality - they use completely separate device drivers.

    Thanks for the info!  CCS was not installed in C:\Program Files, however the revert.dat file was still hanging around in the C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments.  Once I got rid of that and reinstalled the drivers (also not into C:\Program Files, all is well.
