Hi David,
is CCS installed? Ie is this an install error or really an error opening CCS? The reason I ask is that the log seems to indicate it is looking for the CCS specific features etc.
Can you please explain a bit further what you have done so far. Did you use the lite installer? Did you have any issues? Could you try running the vcredist_x86.exe file you should be able to find in your CCS install directory?
Best Regards,
Lisa

Yes, I installed CCS without error and this is really an error when the CCS is opening.
Lisa TI said:Did you use the lite installer?
I used the offline installer .

I executed the Repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable but the result is the same at CCS opening.
Regards.
Hi David,
ok I am going to see I can get some colleagues to help digest the logs. If possible please collect all error logs and dump files (.dmp) generated. This wiki has some information on doing that.
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCS
So has CCS never opened properly? Or has something changed and CCS basically came to this state? If CCS never opened properly the contents of your install jammer directory would be useful as well.
Best Regards,
Lisa

CCS has never opened properly.
Informations collected :
- installation directory : C:\ti\ccsv5
- there is no dump files generated in "C:\Documents and Settings\david.marty\Local Settings\Application Data\.TI\2067366409\0"
Best regards,
David
Hi David,
ok, please zip and send the contents of the install jammer directory and we will try to digest these logs and get you resolution.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi David,
on my pc (win 7) it is found here. Please look under Program Files and you should find the same tree.
C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv5

Hi Lisa
Thank you
See attached log files.
Best regards

David,
I think one part of the installer is having trouble with double-byte characters in the path to the install source. As a temporary workaround for you, could you try moving the unzipped installer pacakge from: C:\Documents and Settings\david.marty\Mes documents\Téléchargements to a folder in the root of C:\, and then rerun the install?
Hi Andy
It seems to work fine.
Thank you for your help.
It would be nice to find this information in the README file.
Best regards
David
Hi David,
glad to hear that things are now working. All the best with development.
Andy - thank you very much for your help.
