CCS5 and OpenCV

Hi TI,

I have Linux SDK and EVM for DM8168.

I want to test out OpenCV functions on the DSP core in DM8168 through JTAG interface.

I am new to CCS tool.

OpenCV 2.3 is developed using C++, can it be compiled into a DSP library in CCS 5 ?

Please give advice or procedure on how to compile OpenCV in CCS5 into DSP library for DM8168.

Hello,

Yes, you can use CCS to build your OpenCV C++ code and create a library. Since you are new to CCS, I suggest you look at some of the getting started material:

Hi Ki-Soo,

I have read the CCSv5 wiki guide.

Am I correct to say that I just need to add all the OpenCV source files (.c files) and include (.h) files to

the CCS project to build the OpenCV C64X+ library ?

As OpenCV source codes are written for Intel platform, will they compile properly with C6000 compiler ?
