Viewing VFP Extension Registers

Hi,

I'm using CCS 5.2.1.00018 with an AM335x Starter Kit. How do I view the floating point (VFP) extension registers?

Hi Rog,

I don't know too much myself so I asked the experts in the AM335x forums who provided this answer:

There is a file in the CCS installation C:\ti\ccsv5\ccs_base\common\targetdb\Modules\cortexA8_NotVisible.xml which lists all the ARM core internal registers.

The VFP registers can be accessed thru the D[31:0]_NEON registers in this list as described at this wiki:

To display these regs in CCS, just type the name of the reg in the Expressions tab to add a new expression in the CCS Debug view.
