hello,

I have downloaded ccs_V5.3 from TI wiki website and installed the same on my system. I am planning to work with XDS200 emulator with this CCS version . is free version of CCS will support to work on DSP using XDS200 emlator.

and let me know is CCS_V5.3 of evalution version will suppotr XDS200 emulator??.

Else i have to purchase Full version of CCS-V5.3 from TI to work with XDS200 emulator.

Hi,

The standalone XDS200 emulators require a full CCS license. A board with an integrated XDS200 can use the free license.

hi gautam,

thanks for reply, i am planning to work using this XDS200 emulator on C6000 and OMAPL138(Multicore processor) using downloadded version of CCS-V5.3 (Free licence), is it support.

That's exactly what I'm trying to convey you; if you're using C6000 based TI kit then CCS free license will work else won't.

Please clarify me The standalone XDS200 emulators and integrated XDS200 emulator,. for example if we take an example of DSK6713 in that we will get XDS510 USB JTAG emilator, Is it standalone or integrated.

If you go with TMS320C6713 DSP Starter Kit (DSK)

http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsdsk6713

then you don't need any external JTAG emulator. It'll have

Embedded JTAG support via USB

my embedded JTAG emulator has been damaged so i am trying to work this 6713 with using XDS200 using free licence version of CCS_V5.3.

One more thing your not clarify me is Embedded JTAG emulator is standalone emulator or integrted emulator on 6713DSK

All kits have integrated emulators, no need for external.

then if we want to work using external emulator that is XDS200 with DSK6713 is it support CCS_V5.3 free licence version??

The kit will be having pins for external JTAG emulator, don't worry. Yes, CCS will support free license till you use the kit.
