CCS error:invalid CIO command

Hello!

I work with OMAPL138-LCDK and CCS v 5.4

I am running a modified version of a starterware example and I am getting the following error:

Invalid CIO command (9) in the CIO buffer at address (0xc140c194) was not recognized. Please check the device and program memory maps.

Any suggestions on what could cause this error?

Katherina,

It is possible your application is somehow corrupting the .cio memory section (a rogue pointer or allocation to invalid memory). Please check this thread which has some useful explanation regarding issues with "Invalid CIO command" error messages.
