After I hit this problem updating CCS I thought it might be wise to uninstall and reinstall. Upon opening Programs and Settings I was surprised to see CCS6 listed as being just 10.5MB in size.
Attempting to uninstall CCS6 opens a blank window like this:
Adding the "Location" column to the Programs and Features view shows CCS as being installed to .\AppData\Local\Temp\ccs_991670b0-ab0d-4db9-7746-6e92bb196552 inside my user folder. That was the temporary directory used during the install process, CCS is actually installed in my Programs folder.
I tried running the uninstaller (ccsv6\uninstall_ccs.exe) directly from my CCS installation folder, but get the same result.
Any suggestions?
Hi,
Due to some installation issues discussed here, I usually delete the CCS installation directory, before installing a more recent version of CCS. That works for me. So, I have not used the uninstall_ccs.exe

Thanks, I'll probably give that a try.
It doesn't look like CCS makes any direct use of the registry, so deleting the folder should be safe.
