need IDE for C/C++ GUI and PRU support

I'm developing on a Beaglebone Black rev C running Debian. It seems like I need CCS for the PRU support, but I need QtCreator for C/C++ GUI support. I would like to use CCS for both, but will GUI Composer create a GUI that will run on the Cortex-A8? Am I making this harder than it has to be?
