ERROR on CCS Version: 6.1.3.00034 to build thermometer_cc2650_stack project

Good morning, I am using CCS Version: 6.1.3.00034 to build thermometer_cc2650_stack   project. I get the following error when building:

INTERNAL ERROR: C:\ti\ccsv6\tools\compiler\ti-cgt-arm_15.12.1.LTS\bin\armlnk.exe experienced an unhandled exception

This is caused by a defect in the compiler itself. TI Customer

Support may be able to suggest a workaround to avoid this.

 

Upgrading to the newest version of the compiler may fix this problem.

    This is a known bug in that version of the compiler tools. Please update the TI ARM compiler to the latest version 15.12.3.LTS. You can do this from menu Help->Check for Updates or from CCS App Center. After the new version is installed, set the project to build with that version by going into Project Properties and changing the Compiler version to 15.12.3.LTS.
