CCS/TMS320C6657: Importing of CCS v6.2.0 projects to CCS v7.0.0 does not work

Dear TI Support Team,

I am trying to migrate my CCS v6.2.0 projects to new CCS v7.0.0.

After importing via "Import CCS Eclipse Projects" wizard I get a lot of "assertation failed:" messages without any detailed information. After them the selected project is empty.

Do you have any idea what is going wrong?

I am working on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Hi,

I have found the reason of the issue. The import to CCS v7 will be failed if the project is a library marked with RTSC features. Attached is a library, which we have used as template in our projects. If the RTSC feature has been removed manually from the ".project" file (in section "nature") the import will be successfully.

Thank you for providing the test case. I can reproduce the error when importing into CCSv7. I will file a bug report for this and update this thread with the bug tracking number.

Hi AartiG,

thanks for your reply. With manually changing of project files I am able to work with CCS v7 now.
The selecting of dependencies via RTSC property page was easier in the past for static library projects.
