CCS/SM320C30: Is It possible to still order or download the old Code Composer v4.1 tools for C3x/4x?

Hi all,

I have to work on an old design using TMS320C30. I already have some shell utilities from Texas Instruments like AC30, ASM30, etc.. Anyway I can't find a simulator. So, first question, does a simulator for TMS320C30 exist? Where can I find it?

Since I'd like to work with an IDE, I'm wondering if there is available an old Code Composer v4.1 tools for C3x/4x. Till now I found only Code Composer 'C3x - 'C4x Service Pack 2 Setup program (SPRC153), that obviously, requires Code Composer 4.10 already installed. Where can I download Code Composer v4.1? I'm pointing to Code Composer because I think TMS320C30 is not supported anymore by CCS, right?

I really appreciate any help or advice you can provide.

You can get the old CC tools from Spectrum Digital:

Note that CC is not available on their website, you have to contact them directly.

thanks for your fast reply, I really appreciate. I'll try to contact Spectrum Digital directly. I don't want bore you, but do you know if a TMS320C30 SIMULATOR is available for download? Even a SIMULATOR can be executed by command line.

Yes, a C3x Simulator is available with a full version of Code Composer v4.1
