Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
The new (fresh ) install of v7.2 does not start when clicking the desktop icon. using 16.04 LTS
I checked the permissions and all are correct. if I start ccstudio from the command line I get a core segmentation fault,
this also happens if run as sudo, so it is not permissions.
I uninstalled and removed the ccsv7 directory and attempted a web and offline fresh installed on two different systems with same result.
If I start eclipse, the code runs fine but as eclipse neon 6 not ccsv7 (second image)
The last image is a grab of the trace in Linux, may not be helpful.
I have updated and verified the libc-i386 libs
