CCS/TMS320F28379D: How to add a device support file in CCS_5 for definition of target configuration?

Hi,

I need to work with Code Composer 5. Updating supported devices in control suite is sufficient to create a target configuration file for F28379D which is currently not listed when I try to configure it. If yes, where can I find those files?

    Hello,

    F28379D support was not available by default in CCSv5.5. But assuming you have base C2000 support installed, you can update your C2000 device support package to get it. Simply run the CCS Update Manager (Help -> Check for Updates) and select the option for C2000 device support:

    The latest available version will have the files needed for F28379D support.
