CCS/TMS320F28379D: Displaying two different variables

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know how to display two different variables on two graphs. I tried to use a Dual Time property but it doesn't showed any differences on the graphs.

So, I tried to use the Dual Time property using two different buffers and then I modified the graph's property to the option Interleaved Data Sources. The result was something similiar to what I expected.

Does anyone know about those properties and can explain more?

Thanks.

  • Hello Ellen,
The Graph properties are documented in the CCS Help ('Help -> Help Contents'). It is under the 'Code Composer Studio Help -> Views and Editors -> Graph Views -> Graphs Properties' node

    Straight from the help:
    ---
Interleaved Data Sources: Interleaved Data Sources specifies whether the signal sources are interleaved or not. Toggling this display option allows a single buffer input to represent two sources. Setting this option to Yes implies a 2-source input buffer, where the odd samples represent the first source and even samples represent the second.

    Thanks
    ki
