CCS/TMS320C6657: C/C++ Indexer Causes Massive Slowdown

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

When the indexer is enabled compiling takes a LONG time.  When I select "Build Project" nothing happens for a while.  Then the progress bar in the lower right gets stuck at 30% for a while.  Finally after several eternities the project will build.

I tried the com.ti.common.project.core_8.0.0.201802131100.jar patch but no change in behavior.

    Hello,
    Are you still having indexer issues? Note that CCS 8.1.0 has recently been released. It fixes some indexer issues (though I am doubtful about yours since the above mentioned patch does not help for you).

    If you are still having indexer issues, please provide the thread stack dump file mentioned in the previous post
