Hi,

I can’t start Energy Trace by using the CCS8 Edit window. At CCS7 the Energy Trace function is working fine. By using Energy Trace in Debugger session i see problems.

But for me is important i use the Energy Trace at free run mode without debug session.

Is any workaround available?

CCS Version: Code Composer Studio 8.1.0

Emupack Version: 8.0.27.9

Devices: XDS110 Debug Probe

CC2642R1 LaunchPad

CCS8: By using Energy Trace in Debugger session i see NO problems.

I saw this as well - it seems the wizard that performs the automatic selection of th EnergyTrace GUI is not working on version 8.1.0.

You can workaround this by selecting the appropriate connection (XDS110) as the default one. To do this, go to menu Window --> Preferences and set the Target Connection to XDS110:
