Hi,
I have a DLPLCR4500EVM, and I was using the GUI (version 4.0.0) on a laptop with windows 10, to control it.
Starting a few days ago the GUI does not seem to be able to connect to the DLP anymore.
I tried two other laptops (win 7 and win 10), and with the older version of the GUI as well, and with all combinations the GUI recognizes and communicates with the DLP. So I assumed the problem is somehow related to that specific laptop.
I also tried something suggested in other threads in the forum, like connecting the jumper J18 to enter the programming mode and update the firmware. With J18 on, the GUI connects to the DLP and I am able, for example, to upload the firmware. But when I go back to the normal mode it is again impossible to have them communicating.
The only thing I noticed that is different between the two laptops where the GUI works, and the one I need to use, are the version of the drivers. The version on the one not working is: 10.0.19041.1. I do not remember if the drivers were already these before, while the DLP was connecting though.
I are you able to help me or maybe address me to other threads with the same kind of issue? I know there are a few already on similar topics, but sometimes they it is not easy to find them all.
