Hi Sir,
Can you tell me how to test the intensity of lamp in DLP NIRscan Nano device?
Thanks.
Hi User,
I looked through the BOM for this EVM. the LAMP is International Light Technologies L8008. Advertised intensity is 8000 Lux or 7000 lux @ 50 mm.

I hope this helps,

Hi Arthur,
Thank you for your reply.
Is there any way I can check if the lamp intensity is attenuated because I don't know how long the DLP NIRscan Nano EVM has been used?
Frank,
You could use a Photometer to measure the lamps intensity. This optical engine wasn't designed or built by TI, so I cannot comment on what the baseline brightness was when the EVM was new. You could also purchase a new lamp from the link I shared above ( looks like minimum order is 5 lamps for $155)
May I ask why you are concerned about attenuation of the lamps intensity? have you seen unexpected or inaccurate results in your measurements?
Regards,
Arthur
Frank,
You should also note that the life of the lamp is ~18000 Hrs.
here is a link the their product catologue https://www.intl-lighttech.com/sites/default/files/ilt_sources_catalog.pdf
