Hi, hello, TI technical team

Hardware environment: TI display part: DLPC3430 + DLPA2000 + DMD2010, motherboard part: Qualcomm SDM429W MIPI DSI output

Software environment: Android 8, DLPC firmware version as shown in Figure 1

Problem description: After the DLPC3430 is powered on, the checkerboard will be displayed instantaneously, and then MIPI DSI data will be displayed normally. The problem phenomenon video has been uploaded.

Welcome to the E2E forums, and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

The firmware builds available from the DLP Pico Firmware Selector Tool are all configured to boot up to a test pattern generator (specifically, checkerboard) by default. Your best option to fix the above would most likely be to use a different firmware image that boots up to either a black solid field test pattern, or boots with all illumination disabled by default. In the second case, you can enable the illumination after your DSI input stream has activated.

Hi, Thank you very much for your reply. Your answer is really great. I want to try the two methods you mentioned. Could you please provide the firmware of the two solutions, I will test it here, and then determine which one to use. Thank you.
