DLPA100: Charge Pump Reservoir Capacitor selection

When I designed one projector with DLPA100PT, which powers DMD controllers and drives motor, I found no detail information for DLPA100PT VCP Charge Pump Reservoir Capacitor AND Capacitor between CP1 and CP2 selection, which one is the best choice, thank you very much.

Allen,

Our DLP evaluation modules, development hardware and reference designs use the following:

VCP: 0.33uF, +/-10%, 25V ceramic capacitor

CP1-CP2: 0.22uF, +/-10%, 25V ceramic capacitor

Yes, I known that. What I want to ask is why it uses this capacitance? Can I change to another one?

Allen,

These capacitors are not meant to be changed. The charge pump is not intended to be used as an external power supply for devices other than the color wheels and to provide input to the other supplies within this chip. As such, the capacitors are chosen by design for optimal performance of device within product specifications operation.
