DLPC900: Important EVM Information!

Dear DLP Users,

Recently on E2E we have seen a number of issues with users facing challenges when trying to get their DLPC900 based EVMs up and running. [ DLPLCRC900EVM (single) and DLPLCRC900DEVM (dual) ]

We would like to remind you that there was a recent update to the DLPC900 firmware base that included support for two newer DMDs.

As an important reminder, since the new DLPC900 based EVMs come as a separate DLPC900 Controller Board EVM (Dual or Single controller) and a separately orderable DMD board EVM, it is very important to download to the Controller Board the latest matching Firmware from ti.com to ensure you are operating with the correct Firmware for your DMD.

Single DLPC900 Controller EVM –  DLPC900 6.0.0 FW for Single Controller

• DLP6500 Firmware [currently the Single DLPC900 EVM (DLPLCRC900EVM) only supports the DLP6500 – in the sub-folder DLPR900PROM-6500-v6.0.0 (only one *.img file)

Dual DLPC900 Controller EVM – DLPC900 6.0.0 FW for Dual Controller (DLPLCRC900DEVM) [both a primary and a secondary *.img file for dual controller DMDs]

• DLP9000 Firmware – in the sub-folder DLPR900PROM-9000-v6.0.0
• DLP670S Firmware – in the sub-folder DLPR900PROM-670S-v6.0.0
• DLP500YX Firmware – in the sub-folder DLPR900PROM-500YX-v6.0.0
