I have a DLPC7540, a DLP650TE and a power supply and I have plugged them as follows :
I have then plugged my computer, downloaded DLP EVM GUI and DLP650TE firmware.
After powering the circuit as explained in the user's guide, I executed the DLP EVM GUI and this occurs :
and when I go to "debug", to change the interface from I2C to USB, this appears :
What is happening and what should I do?
Is the picture of your hardware setup your current condition? From what I can appreciate from the photo the 12V supply is not turned on. The photo is of low resolution so I don't if I'm seeing it correctly when I zoom in.
When you power on the DLPC7540EVM you should toggle from OFF to ON the SW5 and SW1 switches in that order.
When you turn on SW5 you should see D8 light up red and then when you turn on SW1 you should see D8 turn off and D5, D7 turn on green.
Yes sorry, the picture was taken before I turned everything on.
This is what happens when I turn on SW5 and SW1 (everything goes exactly the way you say).
But still, the interface is not detected by the GUI
