DLP6500FYE: How to use Video mode

Dear TI.

I want to use images displayed on the screen as DMD patterns. So I want to use Video mode. But I couldn't .

Please tell me how to use Video mode.

I use "DLP LightCrafter 6500 or 9000 ver 3.0.0" and three cables are connected to DMD.

I am sorry that my English is so bad.

Hello Akhil.

Thank you for the advice.

I referred to pdf and set parameters as shown a picture, but I couldn't connect my display to DMD.

Please let me know if I make a mistake.

Hi Keito,

1. Looking at the GUI screen, External source is not locked. This is the reason for not seeing image on the DMD.

2. After i power up the HDMI port from GUI, i can see two displays shown on my computer.

Advanced display setting shows information about DLP6500 display board connected.

3. I am using latest Firmware and GUI version on my DLP6500 EVM board.

You can download the latest Firmware and GUI from below link. Update to latest firmware and check again.

I solved the problem by installing the latest Firmware on my another laptop and connecting my display to DMD.
